How do I check in?
Check-in takes place at the hostel reception, where you must show a valid physical ID document (ID card, passport or NIE): it is compulsory and photocopies or photos on your phone are not accepted. By law we register some details of every guest, including minors: full name, date of birth, nationality and ID number; address and phone; arrival and departure dates with the room number; and, for minors, their relationship to the accompanying adult. All of it is kept protected and confidential.
What if I arrive late for check-in?
No problem, but let us know by email or WhatsApp so we keep your booking active. If we don't hear from you before 05:00 the day after your expected arrival, we'll assume you're not coming and cancel the booking under its conditions.
What if I arrive before check-in?
You can leave your luggage at reception and go out while we get your bed or room ready. Before check-in, luggage storage is free.
Can I check out late?
We offer late check-out for an extra fee, subject to availability — just ask at reception on the day. If you've already checked out and want to keep exploring Madrid without your bags, you can rent a large locker for €8 a day or a small one for €5.
Where can I leave my backpack or suitcase?
Every room has an individual drawer under the bed for luggage and personal belongings. You can use your own padlock or buy one at reception.
What does full private bathroom mean?
That every room has its own bathroom inside, with shower, sink, toilet and a proper mirror. No going out to the corridor and no sharing with anyone else.
What if I don't bring a towel?
Towels are not included in your stay. Bring your own or rent a large one for €3 at reception.
Can I come and go at any time?
Yes. Reception is open 24 hours and you can come and go whenever you like. We only ask that you respect the silence in the rooms from 23:00.
How long can I stay?
The maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights, and to book again at least two months must pass since your last departure. It's what keeps the hostel atmosphere fresh and open to everyone passing through.

Of course. We have special rates for groups from 10 people: get in touch through the Groups section and we'll put together availability, room distribution and a price for you.
Can under-18s stay?
Yes, as long as they stay in a private room or share with their legal guardians, providing the usual details at check-in.
